Daniel J. Welch – President

As the lead advisor in the firm, Mr. Welch supervises personnel and handles internal operations for the firm. Mr. Welch has over three decades of investment experience specializing in retirement services for both corporations and high net worth individuals. He continually receives specialized training with many of the leading money management firms in the country. Mr. Welch has a B.S. Degree in Marketing from Central Michigan University and holds numerous security licenses through LPL Financial (Series 6, 7, 63, 51, 24, & 65). Outside of work, Mr. Welch enjoys staying active as a member of Walnut Creek Country Club in South Lyon, Michigan. He also serves as the treasurer of the Eagle for Children charity, a 501(c)3 organization benefiting underprivileged children. Dan, his wife Karen, and their two children reside in Novi, Michigan.

Jason M. Welch – Vice President

Mr. Welch has more than 25 years of investment experience. He served as the Chief Compliance Officer of a registered broker/dealer for over 20 years. Jason graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a B.A. Degree in Finance. He has earned two post-graduate designations. In 2004, he earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies (AIF®). Mr. Welch also earned the Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC®) designation from the American College in 2020. Jason and his wife Melissa reside in Northville, Michigan with their four children and dog Boz.

Thomas O’Connor – Financial Representative

As a registered representative, Mr. O’Connor specializes in retirement planning for small businesses and individuals as well as college planning.  Tom’s continuing education keeps pace with current issues and changes within the industry. Prior to joining WWK, he spent years in the banking industry working for both the Bank of Louisville and Harris Bank-Chicago.  He is a member of the Northville Chamber of Commerce, The Northville Baseline Community Outreach and the Knights of Columbus in Novi. Mr. O’Connor has been involved in his community as a former vice-chair of the Novi Educational Foundation executive board and a former trustee on the Novi High School Athletic Boosters executive board. His securities licenses are held with LPL Financial. Tom is a 1990 graduate of Western Michigan University with a B.S. degree in Marketing and resides in Novi, Michigan.

Nicole Farrell – Wealth Advisor

Ms. Farrell specializes in retirement planning for individuals, college planning for families, and participant education. Nicole is proficient at running advanced retirement plan simulations for clients. She is also involved in enrollment and employee education meetings for retirement plans. Ms. Farrell earned the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor designation (CFPA) in 2022 from the National Association of Plan Advisors. Nicole continues to work to grow her client base, using knowledge gained from assisting other advisors. Prior to joining WWK, Nicole gained finance experience working for both Monroe Bank & Trust and H&R Block. She holds the Series 7, 65, 6, and 63 licenses through LPL Financial. Nicole graduated with honors in 2017 from Siena Heights University with a B.B.A. degree in Accounting. Outside of the office, Nicole enjoys traveling with her husband, playing recreation athletics, and spending time outdoors with her dog, Capo.

WWK licensed financial professionals are surrounded by more than a half dozen support staff and consultants. Our staff assists in the day-to-day operations of the firm.
